The Alternative Medi-Spa & Vision in Lyons has announced the addition of eyecare to their list of regular services. Daniel Rostein, MD, Medical Director at the Spa introduced Dr. Loretta DeKoster as " an Optometrist with a wealth of experience and specialized training in treating ocular infections, glaucoma and the removal of foreign bodies. She is a welcome addition to our staff." DeKoster currently practices at Optica on Michigan Ave and Oak St. in downtown Chicago for more than ten years. She owns a practice on Harlem Ave in Elmwood Park ( www.melroseeyecarecenter.com). She will be available at the Spa by appointment (708-443-5000) for comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, cataract and Lasik consultations as well as treatments for dry eye, conjunctivitis, corneal ulcers and allergic disease.
